The mount plates, shifter, and brake lever are made from cold rolled steel cut with a nitrogen laser so the cuts are very precise. The chrome is a Triple-Chrome plating which is the best you can get. The shafts the levers ride on are made from surgical stainless steel and are held to a very tight tolerance. Between the mount plates and the levers sits an oil impregnated thrust bearing (looks like a dull bronze washer) that allows for extremely smooth actuating of the levers. Not everything can be seen in the pictures such as the intricate design work in the levers down to the attach points for the linkages. These Forward Controls will move your feet forward 3.5 inches from stock.
